A weekly Tuesday Club, run in collaboration with Age UK Bucks. All senior citizens are invited as well as carers in the Parish who are interested in Age UK Bucks services. Tuesday Club offers a new way to catch up with friends or to meet new people for a friendly chat over hot drinks, cakes and biscuits.
Church Mice is a fun and relaxed group for parents and carers to bring their children. It is aimed at the under-fives, although school aged children join us in school holidays and enjoy singing their old favourite church mice songs.
We start with songs then have an informal bible reading followed by juice and biscuits for the children, and a tea or coffee for the adults. The children can then play with a selection of toys and games, allowing for the adults to chat in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and play with their children.
This is a great way to meet new people, and to grow friendships within our community. The sessions are free, and take place every Wednesday, at St Michael’s Church in Steeple Claydon from 10.30am and finish around midday.

To complement the launching of Tuesday Club for our senior citizens, we have Thursday Club, for Parish residents of all ages, at The Parish Room, St Michael’s Church, Steeple Claydon, to catch up with friends or to meet new local people for a friendly chat over hot drinks, cakes and biscuits each week. There will be opportunities to play games, sing songs and stay in touch. In the future, new activities will be added including live musical and dinners. More will be shared nearer the time.
