Community Food Cupboard

In the words of the Prophet Isaiah, we’re called to feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then our light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around us will be as bright as noon. We are passionate in supporting the vulnerable and those in need.

The Parish has therefore established the Food and Toiletries’ Community Cupboards at St Michael’s Church, Steeple Claydon and Emergency Food Financial Support for local village residents.

Parish Food and Toiletries’ Community Cupboards, St Michael’s Church, Steeple Claydon

All are invited to help themselves at St Michael’s Church and our Parish and Community usually respond in kind by keeping stocks replenished. This has been a success in our village and beyond because all in our community are committed to the provision of the essentials of food where there is a need.

Emergency Food Financial Support

We have supplemented for local village residents the availability of food from St Michael’s Church with emergency cash support in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council.
